Different cultures around the world

Hello to everyone!

Today, I have decided to write an article about the different cultures, and I have chosen this topic because I think that it's curious to know how live people in other places.  Have you ever thought about how many different cultures there are around the world? Are you interested in them? If the answer is yes you can study something more about the peoples live. Let's start!

Firstly, we have to know that there are more than 50.000 cultures. It seems impossible! But, what is the meaning of the culture? It is the way of life, is seen in people's writing, religion, music, clothes, cooking, and in what they do.

I will start explaining  the Arabian culture. In the Arab society, the family is one of the most important aspect. Always they have one person, normally is the father, like the head of the family. This person have to work and earn money to carry the family on. However, the women work at home, cooking, cleaning, taking care of children... It is said, that Arab culture teaches that the needs of the group are more important than the needs of one person.
The black stone

It's curious to know that the Arabians adored a black stone, that it is located in  the Mecca. It's the place where Muslims pray and their god is Ala and all people must go there at least once in their life to give three laps to the sacred stone.

In the second place, I'm going to focus in the Chinese culture. It's one of the oldest cultures in the world. As you know their typical drink is tea, and the ceremony of the tea is one of Chinese major contributions to the world culture.

Chinese rice
Regarding Chinese food, instead of eating with forks and knives, they eat with chopsticks and with a little spoon made of wood. It's good to know as a curiosity that the fish is prepare stew and is served entire. This way of serving the fish guarantees that it is as fresh as possible.
Concerning celebrations, the largest festival marks the beginning of the lunar new year. During the 15-day celebration, children receive money in red envelopes for good luck and people thorough clean their homes to signify a fresh beginning.

Finally, I'm going to explain the third society, the Indian culture. In their way of life, they do many strange things comparing with our culture. Such us, Indians find toilet paper repellent and consider it cleaner to splash water with the left hand in the appropriate direction. Consequently, the left hand is considered unclean and is never used for eating. Also, in this culture to stay widow is considered bad luck, otherwise, her husband wouldn't have died. And it is traditional to wear white, not black, to a funeral in India. If you want to know more  curiosities click here.

So as you can see all the cultures are different, but all are interesting. I hope you've liked it! Bye:)
